If you follow a few simple guidelines, you will be able to maximize your commissions earned as an affiliate.
First and foremost, once you are making sales, keep those clients and build a relationship with them. You need to create a relationship that will allow your customers to feel that they can trust you. One way to start this relationship is with the use of an auto-responder program, which while it may not be personal, has shown itself to be effective, but be sure not to be forceful in the messages you are sending out.
Secondly, try to ensure that you are promoting things which are practical, desired and ultimately lucrative. Ideally, don't promote something you would not use yourself. More over, do not simply stick to one product; interest your customers in multiple products, especially if they are similar in some way. If you want to get rich, there are ways of doing so, but you have to make the effort and put in the time.
